GREETINGS AND WELCOME TO
ALL ABOUT SCUBA

All About Scuba is located at 925 Texas Street in downtown Fairfield and is very proud to be serving the diving community of Solano, Napa and Contra Costa counties.

All About Scuba offers all levels of scuba instruction, and we are proud to compare our training courses for content and value with any other scuba shop.  We have evening and weekend classes, and for people who have difficult schedules, we can custom fit a class to meet your needs.  Our classes are designed to teach the beginning diver as well as the mature diver how to dive safely and keep them diving.

At All About Scuba, once a diver is certified to dive we keep them diving through the Rock N’ Reef dive club which sponsors local diving trip each month.  If you already dive you should stop on by and get all the details about the club and why you should become a member too.

All About Scuba carries an ever growing complete line of diving equipment ranging from basic gear to advanced technical diving with pricing sure to please all divers.

So if you are looking for scuba instruction, sales and service of your scuba equipment, a place to fill your Air or Nitrox cylinder or just a way to meet some new diving friends, All About Scuba just might be where you can start your dive adventure.

TIP OF THE DAY

Rinse the Salt From Your Wetsuit After Diving

The first thing you need to do after a dive is hose off your equipment. Salt is corrosive, so you need to protect your fins, mask and wetsuit.

Your wetsuit needs to be sprayed thoroughly with freshwater. Soak the inside and outside of the suit. This will get rid of any odors as well. Then hang up your scuba suit and let it dry. Do not store it wet. Mold and mildew will grow, which are impossible to get out. Here are some other tips for maintaining your wetsuit:

\r\n\r\n
    \r\n
  1. Store your wetsuit on a large hanger, which ensures that the neoprene material will not crack or bend.
  2. \r\n
  3. Occasionally wash your wetsuit with special neoprene soap. Your wetsuit dealer should also carry neoprene sealer for ensuring the long life of your wetsuit.
  4. \r\n
  5. After your wetsuit dries, store it away from the sunlight, which can degrade the suit. You also may want to lubricate the zipper to ensure it works properly. The lubricant also can be purchased from your wetsuit dealer.
